Building the Next Generation of Coders — What Can WE Do?

Let’s dive into the digital world with some videos and tech talks on the importance of teaching code to future generations. Afterwards, let’s talk about what we–as MATA–can do to create the spark that ignites the passion for computer programming in students. What’s in this presentation for you? The opportunity to encourage students to become a programmer or computer scientist and work in YOUR organization! Let’s stop talking and DO something that gets individuals excited about careers in information technology.

$10 per person. $5 if you’re a member of a tech group in Springfield. Teachers, students, and employees of sponsoring organizations attend for free. You don’t have to be a techie to appreciate the presentation. Anyone in business who has employees and an Internet presence will benefit from this presentation.
