Brian Krebs (Krebs On Security) is one of my favorite authority figures on cyber crime. Through his blog, he discusses cyber crime in an easy to understand way. I find this incredibly helpful, as I work for a company where technology is a part of our business, but I’m not a technology expert (can you relate?) On December 15, Brian blogged about his experience of someone hacking into his PayPal account. If this can happen to a technology expert, what hope is there for me?

The topic of technological fraud involves more than changing your personal account password every six months; it requires a dedication to security from everyone up and down the transaction processing line. At this Idea Mashup, we have a panel of experts from banking and accounting who’ll share what they’re doing to protect information up and down that line.
